SIERRA DE GREDOS

Our single variety red wine Los Confines is made with Garnacha grapes from two old vineyards (more than 80 years old) located in the mountain area Sierra de Gredos (Ávila).

One vineyard is located in Cebreros and the other in San Bartolomé de Pinares, both at more than 1000 metres and with soils of slate and granite.

We have chosen these two vineyards due to the two different soils. The granite provides verticality and finesse to the wine, while the slate gives minerality, volume and corpulence. The combination of the two soils offers complexity and balance to the wine, and the altitude gives acidity and notes of fresh fruit.
