Our white wine Viognier de Prieto Pariente is featured as one of the newcomers with 93 points in this month’s issue of the magazine Planeta Vino!
“In the project of the sister and brother Prieto Pariente there is neither a winery (they work in a small rented underground winery) nor vineyards (they have searched and selected old vines in different areas of Castile and León). What there is, is talent and quality wines. While waiting for a third red wine to be released, a variety of Garnacha which is almost ready for launch, we’re enjoying a white wine quite different from what we are used to with Verdejo wines, or Sauvignon or Albillo. Even though the wine is still in its’ early stage, this special Viognier variety already shows finesse, freshness and character. Revealing aromas of white fruits, spices, musk and bush. Certain opulence in the mouth, with body and nerve, it’s soft, well-balanced but alive, dry, tasty, expressive and with a long aftertaste.”
