Prieto Pariente 2013

Bodegas Prieto Pariente | V.T. Castile and León

Varieties: 55 % Tempranillo, 45% Garnacha

Red wine aged on oak | 14% vol. | 17€

A new generation of the Pariente family from Rueda is launching onto the market with wines that are intended to show the wine-growing diversity of Valladolid. Martina and Ignacio Prieto Pariente have dedicated a great effort to explore and find old vines that express the character of the terrain in this area, and they found them in the villages of Mucientes, Pedrosa del Rey and Valbuena de Duero.

This first wine is already standing out due to its delicacy, something unusual at these latitudes. It is fresh, gentle, expressive and full of fruity details (currants, raspberries), well seasoned with a touch of oak that suits as a perfect additional character. The palate is balanced, mineral, alive, and with a touch of floral aftertaste that you will fall in love with.
