Our white “Viognier de Prieto Pariente 2014” has been featured in the newspaper El Dominical de El Periódico.
Martina and Ignacio Prieto Pariente is the third generation of Bodegas José Pariente. Alongside working at the family winery, they decided in 2012 to start a new project on their own, based on the different winemaking areas of the province of Valladolid. After launching their first red wine, they have included a new unusual, atypical and confidencial white wine: Prieto Pariente Viognier 2014. A white wine – originating from a small hidden vineyard in La Seca – which in the paradise of Verdejo is experiencing a great potential for the Viognier grape, traditionally from the north of Rhône in France. The wine has a delicate and fragrant perfume, with aromas of peach and white flower, and the greasy texture of this variety, with a vibrant tension in the finish. It is a delicious wine which demonstrates the innovating spirit of this new project.
